Default Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Good morning PSAR.

Wood rounds - finally gone

Red LT-80 - should leave this morning

Now, if I could just get the dayum dodge pick up project sold
That purchase was a big mistake and I'm so sick and tired of looking at it rot.
Oh well, lesson learned

I will soon be able to start putting my house and yard back together

Do you not do snow?
Don't care to drive in it up on the pass where doh doh heads are driving way too fast and not carrying chains, they can slam into you in a moments notice. I'll hit Les Schwab this week and pick up a set of chains for my F350.
Ah, your F350 is 4X4, why the need for chains?

you all should look into aflack or something in that lines of insurence, we got some and if we get hurt it does pay....it doesnt pay the medical bills but it will help out from time lost at work. and for us its only 60 a month and that covers all 5 of us

Mornin' PSAR!

Gettin' the Tajmahauler all sorted out for the season... We only used it a couple times since we got it, but we made a list of things that needed to be addressed before we used it again.

Got the chassis batteries all charged up... need to get a battery tender for those.

Just a couple more things and it will be ready.

I washed it before we put the cover on it, but that roof still sheds that chalky stuff even when there's a cover on it. Now it needs to be washed again. Even used the cleaner that was recommended (not suppose to use any type of cleaner, some degrade the roof) for the roof. Guess that's the way it is... The previous motorhome did that too, except I never covered it in the winter.

Arctic Fox says never to cover my camper with the cover touching the roof. I am lucky and am able to store it in a covered building. Nothing worse on a trailer, motorhome or camper than to store it outdoors uncovered during the winter in the great Pacific NW!

That would be a chore...

The cover I purchased is breathable, designed for our type of weather, not to trap moisture. It did it's job just fine, I didn't see growth of any kind when I took it off. Just the roof was still chalking and the water carried it down the side of the motorhome, leaving streaks of white. It's no big deal to wash it off and it is the nature of those kind of roofs. Those RV's with white colored walls don't notice it as much, just looks dull. Mine has full body paint and shows it off quite well. The cover definately helps, but there are some draw backs.

We've been toying with the idea of building/buying a new house. When that happens, everything will have covered space.
