Well its my first time doing all this stuff . I am bound to screw up something!!!
i hear ya,,,,but this is one thing you dont wanna screw up
speaking of which,,,,did you torque your flywheel nut to spec

also,,,did you clean and locktight the one-way bolts?

both of which are very important

those 6 bolts will loosen up and shear (like mine did from the factory) and end up in your timing chain and gearbox and can be catastrophic
I did do that!!! That was one thing that the guys from the shop told me to do numerous times!
good!!

mine broke when i was pegged in 3rd gear,,,,a bolt head got caught in my timing chain and knocked my decompression pin out of alignment

talk about a f-ing headache,,,,and it could have all been avoided had they taken a little more care during assembly

dam yamacrap
When i took my on way out, to me it didn't look that bad. But I had one of the guys from the shop come over and I showed him the one way. He said that the gear that spins on the bearings is supposed to be completely smooth. Oh well, I got new stuff now! Lets just hope that it lasts longer than the other one. The guy that came out told me to do the valves that way. So Thats why I posted that. I guess I need to read up after people tell me stuff!!!!

the factory ones will only last for so long

L & A ones are black,,,,and look different

good idea to change the oil before you ride,,,,chunks of spring and metal in the oil arent good

Kat
my hubbie is ridin without me in elbe this weekend
Well thats no fair...why arent you riding...I wanna ride...where in elbe?
If you wanna go to elbe you can follow me up... It's is not to hard to find but I will be headed up anyway.
Word of advice if you're gonna ride with Rancher ladies: He has 2 speeds, unloading and throttle pinned. I know utes don't go too fast but if you don't let off on the throttle....
Actually I have 3 speeds unloading, throttle pinned and waiting for you sporties to catch up
Oh and 4th gear: not making it up that road, in the snow, behind the stroker quad.
Actually if I remember right I passed that stroker and then my dumb **** stopped to help
Nope wrong again, the stroker was at the top. That was the 426 stuck, with $kllz's as the ungood pilot.
