Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Went to RMC today. That is a pretty cool track they have, only got to watch bikes go around though. Some pretty good kids riding.

That's where the fun stopped though. I again realized why I hate salesman and dealerships. They were running a typical dealership scam (which I 've mostly seen at car dealerships). I haven't really seen a Quad/MC dealer pull this one, but they did. They were having some "Big Sale Event" or something, which we didn't know until we got there. They had stickers on the quads with "before" and 'now" prices. The "before" prices were jacked up an average of $700 above MSRP on everything. Then the "now" price was MSRP on some and $100-$200 more on others. Then they had $200 off stickers on some of them. So bottom line was about MSRP. Plus they told me I 'd have to pay about $400 freight and prep, plus tax and whatever else. I talked to a couple salesmen, they were like robots. Said they couldn't really dicker on F&P or the price. Said the sale price was to good to come down. They didn't like it when I laughed at them. What kind of big sale is that???????? One sales guy really didn't like it when I pointed out I knew what they were doing . A second one used a diversion to go to a different customer. I was LMAO at these guys.

A couple people ask me some questions because they heard my buddy and I talking about different quads and we "sounded" like we knew some stuff. Which we have done lots of research to figure out what we wanted. They were serious about buying but hadn't done much research themselves (we would have made great salesman, we knew more about certain quads than the salesman did LOL). I told them about the prices they had on the stickers. One guy ended up walking out because they wouldn't come down even though the one he was looking at was priced $200 over MSRP and they wanted full F&P charges. One guy had a buddy buy one from them about a week ago and was pretty excited that he got them to come down $600 on the price, but he still paid them $100 over MRSP and paid full F&P. Poor guy.

I also have a good story about one of the parts guys, but I won't ramble on any more.
I won't go there again and won't recommend them to anybody.

When Hollywood and I bought the V Force RMC OTD price was $1,200 more than Kent Kawasaki. How do you think RMC could justify the extra cost? They're a joke and I wouldn't buy a spark plug from them. The only thing their place is good for is too compare different brands of quads.

Weather, riding, dinner and campfire socialization was fantastic. Dust, snow, water puddles, creek crossings and night riding through the trails were what the ride consisted of along with Bing rolling the Scrammy over on a hill climb and Nickli rolling his Raptor over on a technical portion of a trail.

Easton is a great place to camp and ride, thanks to NWQF for putting the event on and being our trail guide. Thanks to everybody who attended, the whole gang was great and Hollywood and I had a blast.

You would still have to laugh off the OTD price for their quads, no matter who you dealt with. Like I said with Val's V Force, they can't knock anything off to match Kent Kawasaki's price which was $1,200.00 cheaper, I don't care who you are or who you deal with at RMC.

Glad to see those checking in, made it safely home. We got home last night about 11:15 and hit the bed by midnight.

Happa and I had another great time with all of you, again sorry we didn't get to camp out this time but don't give up on us, we will yet...I promise. Like the other times it was so fun sharing all the food and fire chit-chat.

Thanks to all that gave us the offer of a place to stay, we really appreciated it but with me not feeling quite 100% yet, I am glad to have slept in my own bed. You all are so nice to have extended the offers of sharing your facilities with us though

Bing and Julie, yummy crab...thanks so much for sharing! Theresa, great S'mores it was fun helping you make them (and eating one )

Roberta and Julie, thanks for the fun trip to Cle Elum, I still don't remember making that remark though Hmmm,...maybe it was Roberta that said it,...yeah,...I think that was it! Sorry to say Larry but your wrong. They will match prices if you know who to talk to. They even beet the price on a new trx 450r against Hinchaws and they beet them by a lot.
