Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Dirtmomma,,,,we have some friends with a cabin at Forgotten Mountain.....and we camped at Sloan Creek (i think) campground.

I ride an 02 Raptor,,,and Julie drives an 02 Scrambler (in my pics).

That place requires a tourguide,,,,,maybe we can hook up and ride that area sometime. It is an awesome place to camp,,,,and the Sauck river is beautiful.

Joel, I left the wrenches in the back of your truck. Thanks again for letting me use them.

Hey Bing,
No tree cutting for me til Thanksgiving.
We built a new building in Tacoma and moved all of our "customers" down from Seattle. It has been a rough couple of weeks, But I do like the new commute. Only seven minutes

Ride Safe

Quiet on here today.
Hey everyone, I want to get a ride going over at Beverly for Father's Day weekend. Actually the Saturday before Father's Day. That would be Saturday June 19th. IMO it won't be too hot over there yet and it's not too far to go, what with gas prices these days.
I will be leaving here EARLY Sat. morning and ride most all day. Returning in the evening. I will even bring a BBQ so we could have burgers or dogs for lunch. Stop on the way home somewhere to eat. Does this sound good to anyone?
Let's see if we can get something going. My son is going into the Army on the 29th of June and this will be the last time in a long while that we will get to ride sand together.

Hey Rod,

It is quiet here today, wonder where everyone is? I think your plan sounds good, I'm sure some others wil be up for it as long as it isn't too hot over there by then. I like the sand and Hap will go anywhere, lol.

BTW, my son is in the Marine Corp almost 13 years now

Here is the latest as of today....

Marv (Silver Ridge Ranch owner) is coming home tomorrow.....thats the good news....the bad news is that he is blind in both eyes.....

he has had surgery on the better of the two eyes, and it was unsuccessful, the staff infection had deteriorated 70% of that eye. They are scheduling his second surgery on the other eye to see if it will be any different sometime soon (keep in mind that the staff infection had more of an impact on the second one than the first), so the outlook is not very good.

I plan to offer some more help with the ranch, untill Marv is able to get around and semi functional......Im sure there will be some things that need to be modified due to lack of sight, and again the general day to day items that are slowly overwhelming Bud around the Ranch. If you can help I'm sure it would be appreciated, and the last three times we helped out the camping was paid for by the ranch as long as we were there to work. (but please dont count on this)

JULY 4TH EASTON CAMPING TRIP

Friday May 21, ....I will be making definate reservations for 4th of July weekend of camping, fireworks (best 1 1/2 hour show Ive seen in a long time), and of course riding....If you would like to join us please email or PM me and I will reserve you a site.

I saw em before I got in it, thank-you for the quick return. Hopefully the nuts will stay tight but if you need them again don't even hesitate.

Beverly might work for us,but its starting to get busy at work (Saturdays). The other 2 had a hell of a time over the week-end, equipment in the wrong spots and attachments to others left behind. I had atleast 3 hours today fixing Saturday.

Sorry about that, I got ahead of myself.

It's hardly ever too hot for me to ride. My parents live in Eastern Wash. and I ride over there all summer long. They do live on a lake however, so when we're done riding we jump in the lake.

My son is going to be a Cavalry Scout, so he'll get to ride those lettle helicoptors and get dropped BEHIND enemy lines. How much fun is that?

Hollywood, how do you and Hap not worry about your son 24/7?

It will be a big adjustment for me.

I hope it will work for you and Jolene. Too bad the Saturday workers couldn't get anything straight. Lokked like you didn't quite burn up all the firewood this last weekend! I always like to burn every last piece I have the last night that I'm camping. Usually have the biggest fire of the camping trip the last night.
