Good Morning PSAR. I hope that everyone has a great Monday.

 

Well sunday i seen the worst ATV crash of my life... My uncles GF was riding around like maniac with a deathwish by the sounds of her Quad vs her riding skills. me and my brother were at the shop workin on quads and lawnmower when she comes rippin in there totally wide open spinnin the tires (in AWD i noticed after the crash) i think her intention was originally to go across the lot and circle back down the paved road and then she decided to turn and go up the hill climb well the quad wen up on 2 wheels and about pitched her off but her left hand slipped off the bars casusing her to turn into the tip and bring it back to its wheels then she must have reached up and grabbed back on the bars and tried to pull herself back on and jacked the bars to the left. the quad imediatly spun sideways and cartwheeled slamming her into the groundf and rolling over her (poo 700) and the quad rolled 2 more times and landed on its side still running. she wasl layin on her right side unconscious and not moving. I was no more than 100 feet away and was to her by the time the qaud came to rest. i shut off the quad and checked her vitals. blood running outta ear so my brother stayed there and i made the run for the phone. cleard a 10' staircase on a dead run and never skipped a stride. aid was on the scene within 7 minutes of the incident. they loaded her up and met the Life Flight in olympia. they then flew her to Harborview. initial tests show shatterd pelvis, collapsed lung, several broken ribs posibly spinal damage, major head trauma with blood on the brain. pretty brutal crash to watch right in front of me.

Moral of the story. Don't ride outside your abilities like a maniac without a helmet when your emotionally unstable. and don't ride like a maniac when in AWD they will flip soo fast. and Throw away your stock tires and buy good ones.
