NO MORE KFX 700. THE HULK IS GONE (and left plenty of room in my garage I might add).
I am now a member of team Yamaha. I just picked up a banshee this weekend. MY GOD THIS THING IS FAST. I should have done it years ago.
Here's what happened: WE went to the dunes this weekend and the V was running like crap. I couldn't get it to run at all. This was now the third time I was left high and dry with this quad. Now I had just drove 7 hours to Florence and was finally ready to hit the sand and nothing. As far as I am concerned 3 times is 3 times too many for an 04 quad. I took it to Cycle Sports in Eugene (where I bought it) and asked them to take a look at it. They were just about to close when I got there. They said they would check it out and get back to me the next day. Great now I may or may not ride the next day. I made a crack comment to the sales person about making me an even trade on a Banshee. A little haggling and some creative loading. We got the Shee in the truck and back to Florence I went. Saturday Morning I woke early (at the Motel)and took the new bike for aspin on the sand. WOW. IT has Reeds.FMF pipes etc. and it is just FAST. I love this damn thing.

Dollar for dollar you can't beat a Shee in fast mods. $10,000 in a YFZ can't touch a $10,000 Shee. Glad to hear your going to team blue. You now have endless options on MODS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's Yamaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

My wife has family around the South Bend area. Maybe I could join once a year while I'm there for the family reunion. Maybe not.

Well I must say we had an enjoyable week-end! We did not even start either one of the cars or leave the house at all and it was awesome. Haven't had a whole 2 days at home in so long I forgot what it's like
Hap worked his butt off in the yard both days and it's really taking shape even though he has a tendency to "clear cut" my rhodies that he's tired of, lol. Hopefully we'll be ready to re-fence the back yard later this spring or summer if the old job holds out.
We're looking forward to the Poker Run next week-end, we're both helping out the club, Hap decided not to ride it this time. Neither of us has got a clue as to how they work really so it should be interesting for both of us and it's always nice to see all of our buddies.
Hope everyone enjoys the beautiful weather today!
