WOW, great weather for the Poker Run. Lots of fun. Just got home and have to stay awake to make sure Tam makes it home. She had to go pick the kids up in Bonney Lake.

Fun last night (Friday) to hang out with the few that came to stay the night. Glad to meet Rod And Cindy, didn't get to ride with ya due to issues at the back of the pack and you were gone by the time we got back in. See ya at the next ride.

Poker run went good. My buddy and I ended up being Yodaddas EMT's for the event, it was nice to be able to do our part to help WSQR out with this good event. I know you had no choice, but thanks for asking us to help out JohnBoy, it was ur pleasure. Luckily pretty uneventful injury wise. Of course the injuries that did happen were on the other side of the forest from where we were, which mad efor some fast riding for us trying to get there. The hurt folks were taken good care by other around.

My Brother rolled his new Scrammy on top of himself. He is really stiff and sore, and almost his entire back is bruised up pretty bad, but he'll survive. He learned that even though your chest protector don't fit with your camel pack, make it work at all costs. It ain't no protector sittin in your truck.
Got a great pic of wife with right front and left rear wheel on the ground. Other two about two feet off the ground and about ready to roll over. She performed a great balancing act. I turned around to make sure she was behind me, all I could see through the bushes was a tire up in the air. So I freaked out and ran back there. When I saw her sitting precariously in the position she was in, trying to balance here quad on to wheels, I made sure she was ok. Then I told her to stay there (like she was going anywhere) and hang on. Being the good husband I am (at least I think) this was a Kodak moment, had to run back to my quad to get the camera to get good picture for her to cherish hehehehe.

My grand prize for the day was winning a new tow vehicle, WSQR went all out for this top prize. Pics will be posted soon, I'm dang proud of it. You all will love it dearly, and no it will not be for sale.

 

OH ya, one other thing I forgot to mention (i'm sure they 'll be more).

I heard other stories of this happening also tonight.

Remember to not take your car keys with you out on the trail, undoubteldy they will get lost. Try to find a safe/secure spot on your vehicle to hide them while out riding. But my buddies wife was so gracious enough to bring a spare key all the way from Puyallup.
In addition to my buddy, another set of keys was found. I also heard stories of this happening in the past. no fun to try to find another key when you are that far away from home.

Man I'm tired, wish my wife would get home. I need somebody to talk to........

Advil? Where's the Vicodin? Holy Stumps Batman! I Launched off of a stump after riding the whole way till i hit the two mile marker. I had a pretty soft landing on some moss. I thought i wouldn't feel a thing. Boy was i wrong. I sat i my recliner last night to watch a movie and next thing you know it was 10 so i was out for 15 hours total last night. Twomnybeers i guess the night before[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
