Default Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

I/we family are going to Easton on Saturday Morning and staying the night, going home on Sunday afternoon. We are camping at the ranch, Silver Ridge They do have rooms that they rent out, maybe try them. Easton is a kid friendly place, in my opinion.
Thanks for the heads up. I gave em a call to see whats open. How far away from the lodge are ya'll campn? Not sure if we are gonna make it or not. If we do might just be for a day trip cause its just me and my son Nick.

I was thinking the intersection of elfendahl and goat ranch road. there's trails but no cliffs. and josh loves riding there. I don't think josh is ready for capitol forest yet.
Nick is in no way ready for capitol forest but I liked the little mud pit area's. Is there a good kids area at Belfair that the kids can ride. The pit is not such a good place I am thinking for nick.
Yeah, right where i said, the intersection of elfendahl and goat ranch. I think you refered to it as "the track" although its just a bunch of trails in a more open area. And Josh is not a jr. he's the first, daddy is Mike, nice to meet ya
U must be the Mike with the new and improved KGB (killer green bike)! Just think if Kawi would have not delayed the release and had been out in Sept. like they were suppose to, I just might still be ridding green, but I was impatient and couldn't wait.

Have U ever taken Josh out Twin Lakes trail and road? Jake and I have been that way a couple times and it was some real decent double track that he could get going at a decent clip on. I even think I had to shift into third a couple of times.

Oh by the way I do still need to get Jake and I out there riding with U and Josh, think its almost gonna be a year ago that we first talked about letting them ride together.

And this weekend is out I gotta work, seems like I need to ride a little more than I work.

The lodge is about 300 to 400 feet away, walkin distance. You could leave the bikes in my campsite at night if you decide to go.

So now that I finally have gotten the mud out of places it should never have been..I can share with you all my first trip to rock candy mountain.

Josh was kind enough to take me and my son for a day ride down at RCM. We got there and unloaded and headed up the mountain. Well my little man was looking off at Josh popping wheelies and was headed straight for the 20 foot drop off. So I throttled it up and cut him off, we hit kind hard cause he was really going and it threw the bike and me over the edge. I threw myself from the bike grabbing whatever weeds I could thinking to myself oh heck no I am not letting this bike take me with it. The bike was ok and a UTE came to the rescue and the guys got it out. Thanks again Josh for getting him out. My bike was without harm so I was VERY happy.

So we went back down the mountain and decided to keep it on level ground tell Nick got more control on his riding. First nick got stuck in this mud pit. Thanks again Josh. Then Nick wanted to go through this huge puddle or lake so I tried it out first. I didnt make it. Thanks again Josh for getting us out. During that little puddle I ended up falling on my **** twice cause my boots would suction down and I would loose balance. Needless to say EWWWWW It was gross. Time to go home.

We had a blast. Josh was a great help and even fixed a few issues with both our bikes. Thanks again Josh for the help.

Cant wait to ride RCM with out kiddies now...

NO tree's just alot of mud..
LMAO! sounds like I would have had all kinds of fun! But I am still broke
