Tell me about it. I had to resort to playing online poker to kill time at work today.

awright you tech guru's. I put a new clutch in Jayna's trail mocycle and it does not want to shift real good. I.E. into neutral with the engine running. Clutch grabs great but don't want to go into N. Any thoughts?

On the up side, I destroyed a perfect wiring harness for a 1985 ATC 125M. Yuppers, chopped the chit out of it with a set of wire cutters. In too much of a hurry to take three bolts out and remove the harness the right way
But anywho, when I bolt on some exhaust, my poker run trike should fire right up

THANKS for the help today MB. I REALLY appreciate it.

Couple suggestions from a Z400 site...Since I don't know nothin' about clutches, I don't know if it even makes sense...

"Soak your new fiber plates in the same oil you plan on using. Make sure they soak fully submerged....for at least a couple hours. I'd let 'em soak over night if you don't have to hurry."

And:
"Also, look at the steel plates & you will see that 1 edge is sharp & 1 edge is kind of rounded. It doesn't matter which way they go as long as they ALL go the SAME way! Ray."

I didn't see any such thing with the plates, but again, don't know nothin' about clutches.

Could the torque on the bolts with the springs have anything to do with it. If I remember, you torqued those to 5lb? Those new springs were longer, could that be it?

Looking up Tusk Clutch Kits, there also seems to be a few suggestions in forums to use half new Tusk springs and half EBC or stocker springs.
any opinions?
