Default Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Morning PSAR!

We went to Sun Lakes this weekend. We pulled in about 11:30 friday night and it was windy! Justin and I had to set up our tent, which was alot of fun. LOL Had a good time with my cousins and rode the jetski's in some FREEZING water. I had my wet suit on and I was out there for maybe 5 mins, I came back in to get my sunglass's and I had HUGE goosebumps, teeth were chattering, legs were shaking. It was warm over there yesterday, which was nice.

Hope all the fathers had a good day yesterday.

Did the clutch get fixxed yet? I have found that less free play means more cable travel. That means much clucth release and an easier nuetral. My 400 is very hard to find nueral, I normally have to shut it off. If I take out my free play, It gets better, but then slips.</end quote></div>

The craptor and warriors are the same way with findin neutral. seems common as the clutches never really disengauge all the way. just slip most the way.

I think the only thing tweaking our noses about it is that it wasn't an issue until this clutch install. I had the clutch replaced when I had the motor work done last year, and it didn't do it with the EBC clutch, but I honestly don't think I had it adjusted correctly until just recently, so I likely toasted that one from the get go. This could just be a thing that should/would have happened before if I would have gotten it right to begin with.

I am NOT complaining, just curious to figure out what, in the mechanics of it, would present the change. Learning how something should work helps me to better figure out an issue when troubleshooting. I am learning the mechanics of it finally.

It does definitely get up and go right quicker with the new clutch. MB did a tip top lollipop job and I can't even say thanks for the help enough. I would have torn into all kinds of things I didn't need to without his help.

You like a clutch that hooks up like TP was sayin though. Seems like for me with em If you get the clutch to completely dissengauge when you pull the lever it doesn't fully engauage when you let out. Its like the lever arm the clucth down at the case is too long for the length of throw in the cables. also with fatter grips maybe the lever don't have full range anymore? dunno really. just figured its normal.. heck my pickup does the same thing
