So Cindy and I were relegated to fishing from the bank. Caught a few small bass and I caught one keeper. We really want to go back, with a running boat, and explore that lake. The Campground is really nice with lots of sandy beaches to pull the boat up to.</end quote></div>
I'll letcha know if we gonna go for wakeboarding. I could bring the wollridge over for some fishin too

Bugs looks like he's learnin stuff too. Looks like a happy, healthy pal.</end quote></div>
yes he is learnin. building confidence finally and gettin more clingy.. I was wonderin if he would ever decide its a good idea to hang out with me. Been pretty independant most his puppy hood. I wish there was a way i could see thru his eyeballs. cuz im thinkin he has vision like an eagle. He watches TV, and sees things way off in the distance the other dogs don't pick up on. Can't smell for nothin yet.

Well, I'll try this again on the off chance someone may decide to show up.
Bear and I are meeting this next Thursday at The Place restaurant (big surprise) at 10:00 AM and staging out of Rock Candy at 11:00. (who would have thought!)
We're going to ride out B and C lines and some of the side roads to see what is open and usable as escape routes when we run into closed or messed up trails. Also going to be looking for spots to do some quad camping in the near future. May hit a few trails as time allows.
Sure is nice to ride during the week, very few other people out. Most folks must be working or something.
Sorry, the made me do it.

I always thought most pups couldn't smell things much either. My daughter tells me that is not the case. Seems most pups just don't pay attention to what their nose is telling them till they get used to hearing and seeing so much stuff. Every day is a great adventure, particularly so to kids and pups it seems.
Sounds like he has accepted you as the Alpha and wants to win your approval. That goes a long way when teaching him stuff. Maybe he just wants to ride in the front seat of that new truck.

I dunno about all dogs can smell.. Or i they can its on their own terms
I got a goo schmigamuter look he knows whats right and wrong. even though he will still do whats wrong.. he is an aussie ya know. if ya let em get bored they will entertain themselves and well you likely won't like what they think is fun
He gets to ride wherever he wants. he has just picked the back seat as his primary spot. cuz he can sprawl out. This mornin he even rode from tumwater to about tacoma layin in my lap with his head on the door.

I wish he could drive.. I dunno if he will do that or not.. I let muddy steer on straight roads on occasion. He'd sit up in my lap and put his paws on the wheel web and keep it between the ditches. It would be cool if you could teach the dog to drive the hay truck when your cruisin the field collectin bales
He likes his new trucks. will be better when the seat covers show up. Cuz i don't think wet dog and leather mix well
