I decided to fill up for the heck of it. 457.4 miles on 27.79 Gallons thats what 16.46 mpg on that tank. Guess i still had 8 more gallons left. Considerin how i drive. around town that aint to bad. its actually better than the ranger averaged between freeway and town tanks.

Aahh, adventures in quad maintenance! I was going to change the oil on both the preds and the little 90 (it has definitely been broken in.)
Good: The oil on my pred is changed and all is good
The oil is changed on the 90
Bad: I accidently drained the transmission of the 90 first so I have to get the tranny fluid and fill it back up before the Rickster can ride.
Ugly: The freaking bolt on Michael's drain plug was way over-tightened - somebody did not pay attention to the 14 ft lbs! I got help and a breaker bar and that sucker still would not break loose. So, tomorrow, I'll take it up to my local shop and have them break it loose so I don't ruin anything.
I broke one nail
Funny: Ricky looks at my lying under the quad working on it with a little oil on my chest and grass in my hair and says, "your not like normal moms" I'm like, "I'm cooler buddy!" and we both laughed.
Except for the help with the bolt, I did it all myself (and it took forever, but hey, next time it will be faster.
Now its time to relax with a since Michael and Rocky will be back and all heck will break loose with the three boys - I can't wait!!!!!!!!

I do a pre-trip before each ride, I know we've talked about this before, but, it keeps these things from happening

hap i think that would be a good thing to do go around and check everything before a ride. but the 300 is going into the shop tomarrow the back axle is wiggly im thinkin that happened when the wheel came off cause we checked it when we bought it. it is wiggly up and down not forward and back

I'm suprised it's 14 ft lbs, I hand tighten mine then give it alittle love tighten with a socket and rachet. It's probably a better idea to us a torque wrench
