That's why I 100% support tolls... if you use it pay for it, and if I use it I have no problem paying the toll. But why should I pay for some BS that I will never use [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

I agree with you to a point on this Rancher but there are limits. Schools, Fire Departments, Hospital Districts and, in many areas, Cemetery Districts come to mind. Like you, I don't like the lite rail and some of the other stuff we end up paying for. But the argument that "it's there for your use if you want it" convinces many people.

I'd rather see tolls used more extensively as well.

As for my comment on disliking the light rail, for my MH tabs, 120 for the normal BS and 156 for the light rail. I guess I need to research on how this light rail is gonna better our community, maybe then I would feel differently about it, personally I'd rather have another all purpose lane on I-405, Highway 167 or even better, getting Highway 18 finished with 4 divided lanes all the way to I-90, seems that project will never be finished.

Had the olderst son in town last night with 3 of his friends. They drove up for the Dave concert at the Gorge tonight and tomorrow night. Cooked breakfast for them this morning before they left so I was a little busy!
Won't see him again until Christmas.

 

Going to the fair today and then hittng the river at sunup tomorrow to get to the ramp before it gets too packed. Gonna spend as much time on the river tomorrow until I get my 4 salmon limit.
CindyLouWho will probably join me after she gets up tomorrow. I don't think she wants to get up that early but I don't want to wait in line an hour to launch the boat.
