Not to worry. Quads are pretty easy to get out from under. If your going fast enough just grab the root of a passing tree. You'll stop and the quad will keep on going. </end quote></div>
You realize this isn't encouraging, haha. I'll go sit on the Kawasaki this weekend and see how it fits.

You know, you could try staying on top of the quad and keeping the rubber down. Funny thing some of us haven't figured out is that they actually make these things with brakes to slow you down.
Welcome to the thread and the sport.

If you can make it up to Cycle Barn in Lynnwood they let you test ride them around their parking lot.

Here is the Reply about the Poker Run Sept. 28th at Mattawa,
Hello
It is a trail with sand on the ride also. The course for quads is about
12-14 miles per lap and you can refuel as needed per lap and can do as
many as you would like. The first rider out is about 9:00am and last
rider out about 11:00am awards at around 2:00pm or so. We are trying
to get a food stand but not sure yet.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Thanks Gary

Are U just past Beverly? Is it desert type riding, high speed, sand, trails? We will have a mix of guys and gals so not gonna want to do race speeds or conditions. How long is the course that ATV's will be allowed to ride? Is there a way to refuel if over 30 miles? What time can we start and what time is last rider out? What time is the awards and will there be food available? Sorry for all the ques. but the more info hopefully to more people I can get to commit.
