I live in the Tacoma area and I am looking for a place to ride where I can take the wife and kids and have some fun with the quads and run them a bit this winter. I see that Belfair is closed. is there any place else I could try? Thank you for any information</end quote></div>
Welcome to the thread Panther,
Belfair, (Tahuya) is temporarily closed due to downed trees and washed out bridges, will be interesting to see how long it stays closed. Other than Belfair, you can ride the logging roads of Capitol Forest. The trails at Capitol are closed for the winter, but road riding there can be very fun. Those are the two southern areas that would good for kids, depending on how old they are, so, they aren't alot of choices at this point.</end quote></div>
I heard on the news the other night that Capitol had suffered a lot of storm damage and was closed. Might want to check to see if the roads are open before driving down there.

Wilbur is a happy camper!
I got an e-mail from Boeing [IMG][/IMG] I had to set a date for the assessment test for the Assembly Electrician position. As soon I get confirmation of my test date, I'll let everyone know. [IMG][/IMG]</end quote></div>
Cheech was one of 'dem guys on the 737...
08 is a contract year, so if you get hired in, save a little for that rainy day(s)...</end quote></div>
Yes they stuck my skinny **** up inside the front wheel housing and had to wire up the whole front nose. Just remember safety glasses when U clock in at the front door and keep them on till clock out time. And when I was there we had to do what they called color up on the job time line chart right before every break so that they knew if U were going to be behind or not before the end of the day.
Good Luck Bill hope U get some good news!

Now that I'm unretired and working again, I'll start at whatever time they want me to, I'm learning to like the smell of money again [img][/img]</end quote></div>
I like that smell too! 34 hrs of OT (no thats not counting my straight 8 from yesterday)since Sunday morning, nice little Christmas bonus.
The outage we were on last night was from 1am till 1pm and was a guy who was arguing with his old lady on the phone (she must of been mad he was out drinking again) and ran off the rode into one of our poles taking out the whole block north of Harborview including a decent size run of underground cable that fed a large Condo building. Turned into one expensive argument for that guy.

I've ridden there three times in snow.
There is usually not any snow there unless there is snow in the lowlands.
Reiter is just out of Gold Bar and the staging areas are not at a very high elevation, so expect alot of mud!
Last February's ride was the only time I've been there that the mud holes were frozen over.
