Hey Harry, Opps I mean Larry. It was late, I was tired. I must have been thinking with my left brain instead of my right. Well, since I am the senior ridere here, Im allowed right? It must have been all that talk about riding at Beverly. Or, maybe I should have taken a VALium. LOL. I give up. My apologies to both Jerry and Bev...opps there I go again. I meant to say Larry and Val!!

QuadFreak,
Think maybe you could get a few of us out to Easton sometime this spring? I love to check out new riding areas, and so do some of my riding buddies. I still can't believe I've never been there, I love the area.
I saw a post about hitting either Beverly or Moses in the snow. If you get the chance, go for it! A few of us got the chance to hit Moses with about 3-4 inches of snow and it was flat out surreal.(looked like a white ocean) It was a lot of fun.

I just saved a tone of money on my quad insurance!!!
I know this isn't related to the subject of this thread, but I thought I would share it with you because it is a common issue.
I went from $110/year per quad with Mid-Century to $83/year per quad through Progressive.
Mid-Century doesn't insure ATVs in the state of Washington anymore. Either Foremost bought Mid-Century or the other way around and changed the policy.
On another note, the dealer is going to fix my tranny again (no cost to me).

Larry likes the tight trails, and the logging roads are good for the old guys who feel old and have to stop riding after a couple of hours, not the old guys who feel young and can ride forever, just ask 2mnyToyz, I wasn't the one who was tired and had to stop riding at Beverly, Ken and myself went out for two more rides after Jim and Rusty bailed on riding anymore because they were tired hehe.
And as for the hill climbs, if my memory serves me correctly, the first one, Kevin and Nick got stuck, so I had to turn around and go down. The second climb I think Dan, Kevin and Troy were stuck, so again I had to turn around. Next time we go riding at Easton, we'll do the climb one at a time, so the bottom guys don't get stuck.
Now of course, I could have the people mixed up as to who were trying to do the hill climbs so don't quote me, I have been wrong many times before, of course that's just old age setting in hehe.

YoDaddy... Thanks. It's nice to see a turn around. I hope to get my predator back soon though. I do love riding that quad, it handle nice. They replaced the forks, 3rd and 4th gear last time. I called Polaris yesterday and they indicated that they had updated the grid of the dogs on the gears and added a coating to the gears on the 04 models to resolve the notchyness. I'm not sure what happened with mine yet, but I will definately have to know what they're going to do to prevent this from happening again. I have exactly 24 days of riding on it now. 23 before the shift fork bent. Hopefully I get the 04 updates at least.
HappaRap... PapaRap... Pappy... Harry... Jerry... Larry... Wow! How many more can we think of? You are one heck of a rider! I'll ride with you any day! Don't be afraid of the predator though... It blew a tranny racing you and you're still riding!
Speaking of riding... Is anybody riding this weekend? I still have the scrambler to break... I mean ride.

I work with a guy that went to school with Jeff, knew him quite well, I did meet him once, I wouldn't let him work on anything of mine, but he was a nice guy though. Sorry he took you for the money, I don't feel the amount of payment is important, if he does the work, he should do it right the first time, but of course that goes for anybody rebuilding engines.
Yes sir, you sure are the senior rider here, at least for the men and I will leave it at that before I get in trouble. But you do have four guys right on your heels when it comes time to collect social security. Now you have to take us on a ride to Ravensdale, now that you have spilled the beans about it.

Thanks for the inspiring words on my riding ability, but all I think about was the fence that almost became a permanent fixture on my face, remember, we talked about the freeze up, yikes, if you can't turn just plow through whatever's in front of you, yeah, that sounds like me.
Congratulations on the insurance find, looks like I need to do some shopping. Also congrats on the Predator being repaired, they should take care of it, I'm glad I didn't ride it myself one of those last times during the drags, it probably would have gone out on me, I would have felt very bad.
I'll have Friday off, but need to stay home this weekend, spend some time with Val

I was making reference to riding at Moses or Beverly in the snow, seen pictures and it looks like a blast. So why can't you ride, say at Easton, with paddles on the rear and ribbed sand tires on the front. Has anybody tried it?
