Two hours to unload that quads, camper, camper off the truck, canopy on the truck and all the tools put back in. Now I'm tired. Must relax now.
Cindy and I had a great time at Easton! It was great meeting everybody who we hadn't met before.
Lots of great food to eat, we even ate some things that we had never eaten before.
Can you believe that Nick?
Happarap (HappaNap) taught his Raptor a new trick! You must ask him about it.
Larry and I never would have tried going up Bill's Hill if Joel hadn't led us there on Sunday afternoon's ride. I wasn't too sure about trying it, but it was fun and challenging. That Sunday afternoon ride with Joel and Larry was one of the best rides I've ever been on, even with the slightly dusty conditions.
OK, now that Easton is over, who is up for a Sandlake weekend?

I hope U all had a great 4th and a great time at Easton for those who went. I finally ordered a new tie rod end on Friday but it will be a week till it arrives. Probably won't be a whole lot of riding going on though seeing that we are packing and getting ready to move on July 30th. We bought a nice little(2600sqft) place in Edgewood. I hope to be able to take a break at some point though and make it out to a ride again.
Raptorchick& Loki when does Woodland series start up, we payed a little more for our house then expected, so instead of a yfz I might have to just lower and widen the green goblin and wait for Zuki to put out their 450 next year.

Congrats on the new house!!! Edgewood is a great area.
Woodland hasn't posted dates for the next series yet. There isn't a lot of stuff going on in July or August.
I'll be going to the W.A.C. meeting on Thursday, so if I find out about any events I'll post them.
I won't be getting a yfz any time soon either but that's ok because the raptor is getting some stuff done.
We took the TCS shocks off Loki's yfz this weekend and put them on the raptor.
The shocks lowered the front end by about 2 inches. You can definitely tell there's a lot more travel now and it also gave it a sharper turning radius. We might be putting on some 18x11x8's to lower the back end as well.

Left Easton at about 1:30 or 2:00. WOW, lots of stuff to tent camp with 3 kids and a dog.
Great Trip, can't get any better people to camp and ride with. Except those of you who didn't go. Great people on here. To tired to think of much, except a big thanks to everybody. Even though it was so dusty, all the fun made up for that, at least until I start cleaning up . But next time we need some grassy area, hehe
Nap time, so thanks again to everybody.

There's responsible people and groups working on getting it opened back up for our use, legally, unfortunately your way just adds firepower for those who wish for it to remain closed.
Also. That is exactly the kind of activity this group is STRONGLY against. That kind of stuff is what makes us all, and our sport look bad. We have to fight to keep what areas we have now, and anything else we want to get open. There are a lot of folks out there that want us banned from everywhere, we can't be doing stupid and unlawful stuff to set us back. This group is one of the best proponents for our sport, and that kind of stuff wouldn't be tolerated on any of our rides. No tresspassing, private property, CLOSED, and any other signs or areas to that affect should be respected. I would ask that you don't do that kind of stuff, and most certainly DO NOT brag about it on any public forum should you keep doing it.
Welcome to this forum and you are more than welcome on any of the rides and stuff that we do, keeping in mind the above paragraph. This is by far the best group of people anybody will come across to ride and camp with. We have a great time riding together and are a pretty close knit group of diverse people. Any one of us would do anything possible to help each other should anybody need it, which has been proven many times. We look forward to meeting and riding with ya.

Also,
I am going to delete my above paragraph shortly as to not draw any more attention to this kind of stuff than necessary. I highlited and underlined it as a point to show how important I feel that subject is, but felt it important for all to read. I am not demeaning the person, but the activity.

Easton, Easton, Easton
Just call me Happanap, unloaded the bronco and crashed on the sofa, ahhh, didn't realize how much I would miss her hehehe.
What a blast that was, 4 days and nights, great food, great friends and alot of dust, cough, cough.
Bing and Julies seafood/crab pot boil was awsome, it was great to see everybody pitch in with cooking for potluck dinner and buffet breakfast, and I even got in on the cooking, well alittle bit anyway, now how do I turn on this dang stove on to make coffee, thanks Rod for helping me out.
Thanks to Joel for forcing (yeah right) me to make a run at Bills Hill, hehehe, and thanks to Joel and Rod for coming to my rescue when the rappy decided she had enough of the hill climb and attemped a backflip (ok, a real backflip) to head back down well she made it to the top anyway, but I must confess, that's one nasty switchback, I walked, throttling the rappy around it, while Joel and Rod were pushing, then I rode it the rest of the way, I call it honorable mention for my effort.
By my calculations and with the help of Nicks computer, I covered alittle over 200 miles of trails and roads, I've never ridden that much in four straight days, man I'm spent. Now need to find a new throttle cable, thanks Bills Hill, and get some real deserved rest by going back to work
Thanks to eveybody for all their help, hospitality and tips during this great 4 day event. Joel, sorry about the handshake goodbye, hope the wrist gets better, take care of it this week.
Val and I had a great time, she was happy to finally meet and ride with the people she hadn't met before, and it was nice to see 2mnytoyz, stopped by on his way to Idaho, nice to see ya Karl. Can't wait for the next get together and ride day.
