Hey Just wondering if anybody went to the ATV JAM at fox valley on the 3rd (illinois). There must have been over 150 quads there. The whole parking lot was filled up.

I was there, I was the one tha got in trouble for doing the wheelie in ther return lane. It was stupid I know!!! I was the one on the DS smoking the other 4 strokes. I tried to get signed up for the unlimited class, but they said it was too late. I felt like I was in the wrong class, so it kind of takes the thrill of the win out of it. Oh well, it was a good day. Could have used some more riding though.

Hey guys,

Racerx,
Sorry about the 3rd thing. lol That guy on that 440 was really fast wasnt he!! I just saw the video tape of the drags yesterday. My wife had taken lots of pics and some video. I didnt reallize he wasnt very far behind me at all. He was right there with me. So I guess, if I should have been in the unlimited class, so should he have been. Placing in the harescamble is fantastic!!!! That is a huge accomplishment with a ds through those tight woods. Congrats!! Jim417, I only did 2 wheelies in the return lane. But they were good ones. lol I got a little carried away. lol I was riding my wifes v-force when I did them. But that was me also on the Ds that won the class. Did you guys see the kid on the yellow Suzuki Lt80 in the drags? That is my son Randy. He's 6 1/2 years old. He took 3rd place against those monsterous 90's out there. Man, those guys really rip!!!! I am however, reworking the clutch on his 80 for the Monkey Butt drags in Janesville on the 7th. I noticed he was topped out with speed about 3/4 track, so I will be regearing it by then to hit top speed at the 300' mark. He has been riding since he was 3 years old, and rides an lem50 dirt bike with a few mods also. He had a great time. The plaque at the end of the day was a bonus, I didnt know they even had them.
If you could send me some pics to, that would be great. I will pm you my email address. Since we all live relatively close to eachother, we should hook up for a trip to the badlands or better yet, Silver Lake. What do you guys think?

I think a group ride sounds good... i'm suposed to be going to the badlands in about three weeks... I think maybe the 30th or something. I'll be there with a black toomey piped blaster and a stock yellow/blue warrior . But I'm only going if my quad is running b/c im rebuilding my top end.

Thanks for the pics jim417. A ride sounds good to me. I can get away anytime I want. My wife and I try to get out as often as possible. Also, do you remember the guy on the black Raptor with the flames at the megajam. He didnt do so well leaving the line with his quad. lol He is a good friend of mine, and we ride ALL THE TIME. His quad would have taken 2nd place in that class if he could have fixed that little problem on the starting line. (himself) lol. He has had alot of internal mods done also, but couldnt show them off. We built both bikes at the same time. He was the one with the dually kit riding around the parking lot. I built it here at my shop as a novelty item just for photos. He is going to send it to dirtwheels and atv action magazines. Anyway, let me know when you guys want to get out for a ride. If my quad is apart, I can always bring the wifes.

It turns out I got 8th in the hair scrambler But I did make 11 laps I was only 72 seconds slower than the over all winner. Not to bad for my first scramble My buddy ran two laps but he hit two trees and rolled his quad end over end and broke his wrist Quad is undamaged. I have a trip planed for Silver Lake on Labor Day I love that place It is going to be nutts out there
