Devore off the I-15?
Anyone know the info on the area right off the I-15 in Devore, CA (between the Sierra Ave and Glen Helen exits)? I thought that area was off limits, but every time I go by there on the weekend there's always someone riding. Is it "legal" or does the Sheriff just not bother people?
It's real close to home and would be nice for a quickie some day.

I've been locked in there (the wash undercrossing the 15 hwy) by the cops from that jail just east of there. I had to exit through the jail visitors parking lot, errie feeling passin through with trailer, bikes and trucks as the sheriff's watch you, you know your not supposed to ride there. Try Palm ave exit off the the 215 hwy (2N49) you climb up and over to silverwood great ride (+5,000 ft) you'll find a few Sequoias trees up there ;>

I don't think 2N49 is legal???? It's not listed as open on the Forest Service map. In the National Forest I always try to keep it legal. No sense risking getting us all kicked out because of illegal riding. The Pinnacles trails in particular are so unique, no sense taking any chances that will make us lose any ground.
