Was there any reason given? I think Patty's dad knows the people that own where the house is. Chris had been trying to rent it, to no avail. I know that once he gets his house done over by his dads, then I'm sure he'd let yall ride there, too. Chris is pretty cool and once he gets the Tri-Z 3wheeler rebuilt he'll be riding with Patty almost every weekend. I guess the fields by Chris's dad will be planted soon. I wish I had the land to open a park to ride with a liability waiver on my part, lol! The land around here is getting expensive so that won't be an option.
I talked to this lady that races Pro, when I went and dropped off my 250r motor to get rebuilt and she said that the guy doing my motor can do wonderful things to my 400 to make it better for really not that much money.

you know it makes me so damn mad that some dumba$$ has to mess up everything for all of us.. (talking about canal st).. I have a few places to ride but they are not FREE to ride. but I have to say its worth the money if you don't have any places to ride now.. sure everyone knows where I am talking about... Surry, Va(OTC) and South hill,Va(RADD). also the GWNF is good to. the atv club I am in we take trips every month and also have places to ride, but u have to become a member.. if you are interested let me know..

I've lived in the surry area for about 2 years now and did not know anything about this place in surry. I was wondering if you could give me some directions to it? I am also girl, but love to ride, so maybe some of my friends and I could meet up with you there sometime. How often do you go? Oh and how old are you?
Also, you live in Colonial Heights an don't have anywhere to ride? I have lot's of friends that live there and don't ride anywhere but there.
Oh, and one more thing, do you know where the Honda House is?

 

Canal Street directions should be up at the front of the forum postings. Offhand I know that you go 264 West and go towards the downtown tunnel. You don't go through the tunnel, but head towards Chesapeake instead. I think it is 464 South. Stay on that road until you see the Military Hwy exit. Once you take that exit you will stay on Military for about 3-4 miles. You will hit an intersection with a gas station and 7 eleven, it is like the second stop light. Take a right onto Canal St. Then you are going to take you immediate right again, like 20 Feet. Follow the road around and head towards the power lines. You will see the road to where people park. Just be careful, someone said cops are bothing people back there.
