I've been to all of the GWNF trails but "ROCKY RUN".. Taskers Gap & Peters Mill are the really rocky trails. Paterson & South Pedler are the "what you would call the Mud" trails.. so if you are looking for mud. I suggest Paterson or South Pedlar. dunno if you have the website address for the GWNF.. so here ya go...

Thanks chic, btw do you or anybody else know about how long it takes to get GWNF. I'll be pulling a trailer so I'll be cruising at about 65 to 70 from williamsburg.

well it depends on what part of the forest u go to.. I live in colonial heights, va and it takes me about 3 hours to get to paterson & south pedlar.. now for taskers gap/peters mill not real sure cause I've never drove there myself always rode with someone.

 

has anyone ever heard of a campground w/atv trails in painter va over on the eastern shore ......my family was camping at cherrystone an said they saw some signs ''but we can't remember the name'' arghhhhh....anyone her ever heard of or been there.......it would be about 45min after the bay bridge tunnel

Hey guys what happened nobody goes riding no more around southeast Va? Anybody riding this weekend? I gotta get my 450r broke in before the warranty runs out this month, its horrible I had a six month warranty on it and its about to run out and I haven't even put a tank of gas through it yet. I'm up for anything trails, tracks, logging roads. I just want to get out and ride! I'm new around here so I really don't know where to go. If anybody wants to get out and ride this weekend let me know I'm up for anything.

 

so what happend did everyone move out of the area??????............anyone been out to canal recently???? its getting cold again lets get this thread back up and running!!!

I have been out to Canal a few times.... there are a few new trails cut and it's still pretty decent.
We are planning some trips for the next couple months to Hatfield McCoy in WV and Gore, VA.
