Where to ride in Colorado?
When you get to Colorado look at shops/resturants that have those travel brochures, like zoo's and water parks, the ATV rental place has a brochure, I've seen it, Actually it's called ATV tours, and it's on hwy 50 west of Canon city, don't remember exact location, but it is in Texas Camp. You can see the signs as you go down hwy 50

YamahaFlyer,
I've been going to the Walden Dunes for over 12 years and I stopped this year. This spring I had to haul some idot to Laramie, drunk, wrecked, and broke his back. It is the 4th time I've had to take someone to Laramie, I have 3 smaller kids who ride and it has gotten so crowded and wild (sand sucks) its unsafe for them. If you are going to spend the time, go to Rock Springs, WY Dunes or the best Dunes in the country are St. Anthony Idaho. 10 - 12 hour drive from Westminster (pulling camper & bikes) but it is by far the best. I've been to most of the others mentioned in this forum and St. Anthony rules.
Check HERE if you haven't already, he has great pic's, video's of all 3 places.

numneck,
We're just about neighbors! Thanks for the info, I'll definitely have to check out St. Anthony's, sounds like a great place - might be a good place to break in a Raptor when I get it.....someday. My Wife and I ride with several families that have kids with quads, where do you take yours? It is amazing what those little guys and gals can and will do!

Mostly the Buena Vista area. Have been riding around that area for 17 years but every year they close down more of it. We try to hit
Texas Creek once a year, Granby area, Green Mountain, but always 3 – 4 trips to Buena Vista. We also have 4 –5 families that
Ride together and we always had an annual week trip to Walden but that changed this year and it will now be St. Anthony.
I’m from Montana so we haul the tribe up there a couple times a year during Holliday’s and ride also.

Where to ride in Colorado?
I live in Colorado Springs.
I ride a 2001 Honda Foreman 450 Stone Stock.
Typically I ride Texas Creek, Taylor Park Westcliffe.
My Dad was born and raised in Walden, Co I am very familiar with the area and the dunes. I assume it's 2 wheeler area.
Myself love the rocks and steeps versus racing.
