Cheese Country Trail.... I just spent all weekend there. First real trip out for the wife and she had a BLAST! I am going to say she may be a little crazy after seeing her on the Rancher I bought her. She had so much fun yesturday she begged me to go again today. That's right we made the trip 2 days in a row. Oh yea I forgot to tell you we ended up buying her a Rancher 400 AT. Thats what she wanted, thats what she got. That thing is nice and she loves it....
Next weekend she starts school again so I am going out for an all man outing to Black River Falls. LOL Never been there but I am looking forward to it. We alsmost went to Bong on Saturday because it got a little late but we headed out to Cheese anyway...

That is awesome that your wife had such a great time. Never forget how lucky you are. Cool about the Rancher. It looks like I am getting rid of my Trailboss and getting a scrambler.
So how were the trails? We are heading up there on Sunday. We actully had a lot of fun at Bong on Sat. Although I normally do not like it, it was fun. The tracks are extremely choppy by this time of year from the bikes...and there was a whole lotta mud...I am sure this had something to do with it being much better than normal.
So.....low down on Cheese?
And looking forward to your report on Black River....

Cheese is long, flat and dusty... It was good for my wife to get used to the new quad on. Trails were in good shape only a few holes and a small whoop here and there. There was one spot with some mud on the side (maybe 4 small mud holes), but that was just about all the way to Mineral Point. I didn't see a single DNR officer the whole weekend, this puzzled me because of all the stories I have heard about how strict they are up there. We had a blast racing up and down the trails (remember the limit is 30mph ). Did I tell she was doing over 50mph this weekend? Anyway cheese is a great family place and execelent for new riders. If you're into more go someplace else...

Hey Rhinhd...we hit Cheese(HEAD)trail on Saturday. It is awesome. It's kinda nice to just ride and ride. Haha, the bridges are the best, You are right, definitely a nice family place to ride. We went alone, but are looking forward to bringing the kids upo for a day of riding, a little lunch, and a lot of fun. I am not to hip on the dust factor, but, that's life! We didn't see nayone checking speed either. As a matter of fact, there were quit a few guys out there tearing up the trails.
Bottom line for anyone wondering....no kids..Badlands! kids....Cheese Trails!
How was your trip to Black River Falls?
Take care
