Kansas Riding
#1
Hey, Kansas Riders... help! I heard there are trails in Linn County by LaCygne. Anyone know about that? I'm from the KC area and I'm looking hard for new areas, too. Getting tired of Perry.
If you want to drive into Missouri, try Finger Lakes State Park outside Columbia. It's great.

There don't seem to be a lot of places to go in KS, or at least nobody knows about them.
I usually ride at Milford, but it's pretty far from KC. It's good for a weekend or two, but then you've covered everything.
Nothing can beat sand dunes...

Deepwater is just south of Clinton, MO. About an hour southeast of KC.
Map of Deepwater....zoom out to see more.
Once you hit Clinton you go south about 5 miles on 13. You will cross 2 bridges, after the second bridge you take your first left. When crossing the bridge you can see part of the riding are near and on the lake. In my opinion this is BY FAR the best place to ride within an hour of KC.
