They are making a new trail in WV I've read to compete with Piute trail in utah, Its susposed to be aprox. 1000-2000 miles when done has anybody heard how far they are going to be this year?

The trail you are talking about is the Hatfield McCoy Trail System. The trail has a planned opening of Oct. 2000 with 300 miles of trail.
Everyone is asked to STAY AWAY TILL THE TRAIL IS OPEN, hopefully in Oct. 2000. You should also join the Hatfield McCoy Trail Scouts now, so you get the info when the trail is open. There is info on this site about where to write to for membership.
