Coming from Cologne, there are a couple options for you to get there. First, you could take 212 in through Chaska and work your way to 35W and head South to the Dundas exit. There are directions here in the forums from there. Just put Dundas in the search engine for the "Where to ride" topic and you should find it.

The second option would be to head directly South to HWY 25 just west of Belle Plaine. Take HWY 3 South by Emma Krumbee's and follow that to HWY 19. I believe that 19 goes all the way to Northfield. From there, you could follow the directions from Dundas and get onto County Road 20 to Cannon City. Bauer's Pit is 3/4 mile East of Cannon City on County Road 29.

If you opt for the Chaska route, we could hook up in Shakopee and go from there. I will be working from about Midnight until I decide I had enough.

I was actually planning on hitting the pit today, but my to-do list kinda got in the way of play time. I've got a neighbor that's interested as well, so maybe if Mom Nature holds off a bit tomorrow, we may do a morning run down there. I'll find out tonight for sure and post here if we do. If you can, maybe we could all hook up down there. Being sort of an "ATV virgin" [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] , I need all the pointers I can get!!

Sorry, but I sort of blew up tonight. No... Not my quad, just me. My to-do list was quite a bit longer than I realized... mom nature sounds as if she'll be a bit nasty on Sat. so I'm going to just lay low and FINALLY finish the list....

I WENT TO BAUER'S PIT ON SATURDAY AND IT WAS CLOSED DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THIS?

 

Roy's Pit has been closed since last year. Although Roy would tell you different.

Unfortunately, there are those who continued to ride there even though Rice County has told Roy not to let anynone in. Now, again Roy has found himself in a heap of trouble with the county.

Those who continue to go to Roy's Pit aren't doing him any good. But in reality, what in the hell is Rice County going to do to a 94 man?
