i'm a new member and new to shreveport. i'm looking for places to ride, preferable around here. i ride dirt bikes and i own a suzuki dr-z250. please let me know where i can go and directions would be nice. thanks.

 

There are a couple of tracks in the Shreveport area. Maybe Highlifter can help u with directions to them. Also last I heard you can still ride on the Red River on the Shreveport side near Hamels. You have to go out onto a sand bar though. Some weekends there are a few riders there. Go to Highlifters in Shreveport. They usually know where and when events in the area are coming up. You should try and make the two hour trip south east to La Dunes in Forest Hill, La. Forest Hill is south of Alexandria and has a couple hundred acreas of dunes. Other areas in La, towards the north are Kisatchie national forest, Take I-49 south out of Shreveport, until you hit Nachitodes, La. Take highway 7 until you run into highway 117. Continue south until you come to Kisatchie Forest. Also there is Camp Claibourne in Forest hill, and there is a few tracks in Longview, texas area. IF you need to better directions pm me.
