I just got reservations for pring break, Mar. 15-17 and they are going fast. The lady told me that most if not all of the rooms were already gone for Snake Hunt. Good luck. Prices really go up on busy weekends. Three people in one room is $62.50 per night. WOW.

I rented a house for $60.00 a nite. Two bedrooms and three beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Its completely furnished.

 

Where is the house that you rented by the night and how do I get ahold of them?

Thank you very much for the info. I would love to come but we have 3 children (ages 12, 10 and 8) and we haven't been before. I'm not quite sure when would be the best time to introduce them to Little Sahara.

 

This is my first trip also. I am bringing my girlfriend and she has never been in the sand either. I have rode in S Calif, but that was a few years ago. From what I understand this is not a busy weekend from what the parks department personal told me. Its the last week of spring break and they said its not usually busy around that time. I just got back from there today, and I can barely walk. My back is hurting something bad, between my little wreck and sleeping in the back of a truck for three days, Im wore out.

It was a great weekend for riding, it was pretty busy, but not as bad a major weekend like snakehunt or sandfest. I would say all the camping spots were full, and there was a few on the north campground road. I dont know much about the house rentals as we usual just 'ruff' it.

 

We will be leaving tommorrow @ 5 pm and will be staying until the 28th. White chevy ext cab with a 20Ft white enclosed....Just watch for the ONEAL RACING, and Louisiana plates! We should be in the South Grounds Prob close to the entrance. I will hang some pink marking tape from my antena on my truck so I shoudl not be hard to pick out. Don't be affraid to stop by and shoot the breeze!
