Spring Break for most of the Oklahoma schools is March 15-19, this includes public schools and major universities. I like to go this time of year (March), it is cooler but feels great to ride in jeans and a sweatshirt. Temps in the 100's are crazy, I have only been once when the sand temps were in the 120's, I'll never go again when it is that hot!!!

 

That makes two of us!

 

I believe we are planning for Mid to late October. I think thats around Sand Fest. Anyone know when it is?

Might be a month late then. Its all depends on what times my brothers and cousins are taking vacation.

Sounds crazy, but riding in the sand and dunes is the best. Especially on a sport quad. I can't really say if riding in the sand is that much better on a utility quad, though. I think once you go, you will be addicted.

I'm going to try and get to Lil Sahara in March as well, just don't know when yet. Maybe we'll both have our 450Rs and we can see who is really faster, Honda or Honda....
