Ridingb today was pretty fun. A little chilly, but it was not crowded at all, and the trails were good except for a little icy in places. Only one casualty in rldbobcat flipping down a huge hillclimb and getting crushed by his DS650, but he lived to ride another day although very sore, but he gotr his initiation out of the way to Bussey so hes good to go now. Anyway it was fun and hope some of you can join us next time.

It wasnt rerally that cold once you got in the woods and started riding hard. The track was a little cold, and it sucked cause a bunch of utilities (god d*%$ them)-- decided to turn it into a mudbog so it was all rutted up and frozen so was very rough. I actually like riding in cold weather better than summer for a couple reasons...first, it is not crowded, and second well, its not so crowded. If Iowa would get off the short bus and get some riding areas opened up, we wouldnt have the overcrowded problems we have. Anyway, we mostly rode the woods and hillclimbs. My buddy with the Raptor is gonna race the harescramble series and so he was riding hard, and I learned real fast that my stock suspension HAS GOT TO GO!@!!!! I was trying to keep up but all I could do was bounce all over the place and hold on for dear life! The kfx has good suspension for stock, but for my 215 lbs, and to ride hard through a harescramble type course, Id get eaten alive. Well, Im hoping that for the weekend after superbowl ride, it will be dry, and about 30 degrees. That would be about perfect.
