Do you know if it's legal to ride northeast of Copper mountian (where that big sand hill is)? I thought i'd ask you with you being a local, im sure you have rode there and the nearby dry lake bed off of Sunfair and Broadway in Yucca Valley? I went there once and didnt get a chance to explore all the riding area
Sunfair is a designated riding area and all green and red stickers are welcome year round. I know of the big sand hill northeast of Copper Mountain and you are correct, I have ridden there. I don't know for 100% cetain but I am nearly positive that it too is legal. That sand hill is a little deceiving, much steeper than it looks but a blast to ride. Let me know when you are up in the area and I can show you some cool spots to ride.

Thanks for the invite, I will check your posts and try to meet up with some of you when you are in the area.

I know what you mean about the greenies creating their own "protected" areas. Unfortunately, it probably isn't going to get any better. We use to do the Barstow to Vegas race years ago and the radical enviros hated it. They even placed buried spike boards under a bridge in a sand wash one year along a route that was designated for the race. Those idiots need to get a life and stop harassing the people that wish nothing more than to enjoy nature the best way we know how....on wheels.

Well I don't have a 4X4 quad. I went in my JEEP. Much warmer with the JEEP. When it does get warmer, I will take the family back on the atvs.

eman4000, we have some gnarly 4X4 trails up here. It's a lot of fun to explore the impossible stuff. You'll have to let us know when you get a 4-by.
