A bunch of guys from up here are going the last weekend of feb. Anyone gonna go? Ill prolly go if I have the $$$, im gonna order some sand stars for my banshee today.

 

Highlifter, Are you headed to the parades the next two weekends? Im leaving from Lake Charles around 3:30 today for Shreveport. So riding is out for me until after Mardi Gras.

Mardi Gras parades. I go every year, they are alot better than Lake Charles' parades and I have alot of fun.

 

oh, I thought you actually RODE in them.

I live in parade central, so I usually try to get AWAY from them.

 

I can understand where your coming from. I use to go every year to New Orleans for the Mardi Gras. But its gotten out of hand. People fighting over beads and all the drunk college idiots. Dont get me wrong, I can drink with the best of them, but its drunks wanting to fight is the problem I have. Shreveport has its share of problems during Mardi Gras but its on a lesser scale.

 

I dont too much care for Mardi Gras, too many people, too many drunks. But we are going Feb. 29th, bunch of us local guys.

 

Okay lets figure this out. When is the big one in April at L.S.?
