Man I almost forgot about the chopper! That was a close one!......We will be going back out this weekend and maybe some more people will show...I think the lack of the crowd had something to do with the fact of Madi Gras..I am going try to change my sprocket out this week, going from a 13 to a 15 maybe that will help out that poor little shee of mine.

as for the banshee. 13 is a little low. thats a good trail riding tooth. 14 is stock, and 15 is more top end, but lose some punch in the bottom end.
If your running stock rear (41 or 42 tooth i think) then a 14 should bring you back to stock and a 15 will give you some more topend. 15 is ok if you have the room to really run her out and you've got some pipes or toys on the shee.

Thanks CED but your Polaris hurt my feelings, Pull what ever strings you have to pull to make it back out there. I will have the trailer with us this time so we will have a place to get out of the weather if it is too harsh.
Ford, I put the 13 on when we went to Sahara last time cause I run 21x 12x 8 8 paddles and at that time I was running a stock bike.....Now I have gone from 200 to 300 on the jets and running open air with Cpi in frame drags, the problem I have now is I can almost take off in 2nd gear which is a loss of time cause I am in first for a split second just enough to turn the tires over then I am looking for second....I am still running what ever is stock on back but i think adding two teeth should peel of some time.

ew. you launch in first?!?!?!
I gave up 1st gear launches many many MANY moons ago.
Throw a 14 on there, with a 2nd gear launch, and you should holeshot everyone around you. 8-paddle tires are not as aggressive and have alot of spin in them, so you should be able to really wind the bike out.
I run toomey t-5's, a K&N filter, no airbox lid, shaved head and 20 over piston and I have my carbs jetted at 280 and 30. I used to run 300's and 30's but that was too rich for my bike.
