Thing about riding out in the Owyhee this weekend Anyone ever ride around Owyhee Reservior?

 

Is that the Owyhee mountian range southwest of Nampa?....Isnt Wilder around there also....I Still consider myself an Idaho Native...I lived in Nampa most my life Ive been all over that area riding back when there wernt very many riders...

 

Yes that is the one. Am new to this area, have hunted it a little but not much. Looking foreward to some good rides Grizz

 

I used to live around Ontario, Oregon and Fruitland/Payette, Idaho area and used to go to Owyhee res. a lot. That was before atv's were very popular. ..Dean

 

Hey,olgrizz I live in Boise I,ve been to the owyhees at less once a week through the winter.Three times last week.twice on a ATV once Dirt bike.Have not rode much around owyhee reservior but south of nampa is Hemingway butte - Rabbit creek- Murphy - Silver city - Oreana all great park and ride areas hundereds of trails. Will be going out again this weekend always looking for more riders.I go alot alone during the week but work is picking up now.so it will be more on weekends. Ya Pickle Butte and Kuna, Murphey, Silver City were all good places before...I ready to move back to Idaho...Oklahoma is way to Humid for me I hate it here...

 

Thanks Don, Last year, wife and I did a lot of riding in Eastern Oregon, but with what is happening to gas prices this year we will need to stay closer to home. Maybe we will see you out there. I drive a grey Chev with double atv rack on back. We ride sp500's Grizz
