I have heard about this place a few times and I was wondering what its like.....
Is it all trails? sand pits? hill climbs? rocks? A few people from the chat room and some local friends would like to come down in late aug or early september. What is expected? Is it legal to ride there and if it isnt do the cops patrol the area? tickets etc?

This place is not legal to ride. This place is alot of open sand/clay pits not like the dunes. There are also a lot of trails. We have been ridin there for a long time and never had any problem with NJ's finest. Drop me a line i can tell you alot more aboutthis place and maybe can even meet up to do some ridin..

I took a look at your web page and it looks like a fun place.....I would like to come down sometime in early/mid september. How big is it? What tires work best? Is there room to park a few trucks and trailers? I have a few people that want to get together from Pa, Md, Nj, and Ct. Is it big enough for 10-12 people?

This place is huge. There are evem places i have not been at in bell plains. The only problem is you have to pull through the woods to the main open pit. There is plenty of room to park. Drop me an email and i can tell u more. Also let me know when you are going maybe i can plan to meet up with you. But the 3 rd week in Sept is out we are going ridin to Potter County Pa. Also Thunder on the beach is in Oct 7-9 MX RACES ON THE beach in wildwood NJ. We should have 2 guys racing in this event in 2 classes.

I rode Potter County, Potato City, a couple of weeks ago and wasn't very impressed. There were 43 miles of trails to ride, which we did in a hour or two. Then it got boring. The trails are very nice, but there isn't any fun stuff. No hill climbs or jumps. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Well the date has changed to Sept16th. I know you have plans for Potter County the same weekend, and I wasnt sure if you wanted to hook up with all of us or not. I sent you an email over the weekend also.

Have you been down since the guy got hit by a truck a few weeks ago. We are hoping to make a trip in middle to late August but I remember you saying some one just got killed down there recently. We went riding in Forked River, NJ (Parkway Exit 74) last weekend and I was a great place to ride but the cops are dicks and they have a town ordinance, madatory $1000 fine, 6 mos. loss of license, and CONFISCATE your bike. I got hassled by a cop and luckily he was feeling nice that day and let me go but I thought my bike and license were gone.
