Can someone post the rules/fees/entrances for this site? I live in Steubenville OH about 20 miles from here but I only know what I have read about it here. There is some conflicting info. I also would like to know if it is a good place to take kids.
If there is any chance that I am getting fined, I will just find somewhere else to ride. I even found a website for that sportsmans club but it looks so outdated that I do not know what to think.
Thanks,
Mike

Mines and Meadows is located off of Rt 18 in Wampum, PA. I went there about 4 weeks ago. The trails are really easy, but it's still being built up. The cost is a little high. It cost $25.00 per rider. I talked to the guy who owns it. He has a lot a ideas and plans. I guess it will just take time. But for now, the trails are entirely too easy. It's like riding a logging road. It would be a great place to take the kids.
When you go into the mine, you have to go guided. You go thru 2x's. The first time you stop throughout. The second time you go through fast. If I remember correctly, the mine is 11 acres and there is a 2 acre lake. You ride through a small part of the lake. It's something to experience at least once.
Hope this helps

Rode oak tree, Dec. 23 rd, it was a little disappointing ,the loggers have moved in ,and changed the landscape. What you remembered about oak tree has changed .My son got his raptor stuck 4 times, and we got lost 4 times, most of the logging roads go know where ,and the creek has fallen trees everywhere. Same day we rode into the forbiddon zone, and that was really nice. Scooby doo and the playground was really muddy. We really want to ride mines and meadows, but 25.00 bucks a person is crazy//// They where selling camping rights to mines and meadows at the Pittsburgh rv show ,and they don,t even have it built yet/////. Wellsville is still the ultimate ride,2oldmudders

Or you can give Forbidden Zone Atv Campground a call 330-708-4417 for more information on riding, camping, etc. They are near that area and have access to all the same riding area in yellowcreek but is legal to go in that way as to crossing the railroad.
