We post rides all the time in there.In fact,34 of us just did a ride at Sand Lk last Saturday.We compiled 85 miles on our ATV that day.We stopped for gas and food at Desi's in Oscoda.

We had a BLAST.

Bill is right, check the site out. Lots of good inof and good people on the site.
The mounds is fun if you want a quick ride and a blast if you want to play in the mud.
Mio has the sand hill. It is about a 1/4 mile and a BLAST to race uup and just watch others race. They race everything from motorcycles and ATV's to full size like new trucks.
I also like St Helens motor sports area myself - lots of room to ride and all types of trails.

have you rode anything over the big bridge, (UP) I want to come up and ride with my brother, he lives in grand rapids, we do not want to go to far over the bridge do to travel time,

 

I have never been riding "over" in the UP. I hear it is awesome and LOTS of great palces to go, but I too am often limited by my travel time so I run the Lower trails. They are good trails and there is always a new one to try. That is one good thing about Mi, we do have some decent trails, just wish some were a little more south!

 

I love the UP of Michigan and ALLWAYS plan on spending at least 3 days of riding time anytime I plan a ride there.Our club has a huge ride in the Marquette area planned for May 20 and coming home on the 24th.

I cant get enough of the UP.

My brother and I have only been on the Mio trail, we spent two days running there, what other trails do you run in the lower part, we like to run 2 days of riding, we try to ride in places that are big so we do not run the same trails over and over.
