I used to go to Pismo. Not so good anymore. If it is cool on that weekend (last few years were not too hot) the high desert would be good. You will just have to check weather if you hit the deserts.

Thank you for the reply, just wondering if you ride much up around the San Bernardino Mtns. since that is pretty much your back yard. We went last year before the fires to Lake Silverwood staged there and rode up around Miller Canyon and then rode all the way to Pinnacles. My buddy and I thought that was probably some of the best riding we had ever done.

You can still do the Miller Canyon Loop, but the area surrounding Lake Silverwood is closed, and so is the Pinnacles [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img].
