IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! Biggin and Flagless got tired of watching the ol man shoot rainbows on 80 foot dunes. Loved it. Had a great time but the DS only lasted 4 hours before it broke on me. Clutch again. We took turns on the Raptor and the EX for 2 days. Biggin made a mod on the Raptor that put a red flashing light in one headlight and a blue light in the other. Looks like a cop light at night when its coming up on you. Some guy pulled over and stopped out on the dunes..pretty funny.

Stayed at Bunkhouse 1 in Waynoka. Highly recommend the Blisses houses for renting. Great people and the price was excellent. The weather was awful the first night we were there and would have had a cold miserable night.

If you go again make sure you take your own parts store with you. The ATV shops they have there are pretty much useless unless you want a tshirt or a flag. I thought they were full service shops but all they seem to provide is the usual flamboyant riding clothes, handlebar grips, flags and stickers. I asked if they had parts for a Bom and they looked at me like I was crazy. I called my dealer back here and he did a locate for me and the closest Bom parts were 6 hours away. The DS made a great paper weight for the trip but thats about it. Banshees are looking real good about now.......

Sounds like you had a good time 400Cat. Hitting those 80 footers at night are a buzz...specially when you have to get a little air to to get over the razors. My favorite is the wide open bowl riding. Did you meet up with any of the St. Joe crew? How did you all do at the drags?

I'm finding that clutch in the DS's are the weakest link. Perhaps our thick bodies are to much for the clutches. I had to put another clutch in my DS a couple of weeks ago and I had the Pami springs to. See TheBom....he has a fix that makes the clutches last longer.

A few of us are going to LS in a couple of weeks. May 20th to be exact.

Glad you all had a good time!

Matt, sorry we didn't hook up with you guys. Biggin said he saw you guys out there but I was probably back at the trailer with the big red paper weight. I think we're planning to go back in September too.

J, I called Jeff today and ordered some new plates. He told me that he soaks his plates overnight before installing. Maybe thats the trick.
