Hey all! I am looking for more info and any sites with pics or any of your all's pics on Appalachia Bay near Sand Springs, OK. Our club is planning a ride there Memorial Day and I kinda wanted to see what I was in for LOL! Thanks ahead for any help ya'll can give.

Appalacia is about 600 acres of mostly trails some sandy beaches and sandy areas worst part is no set direction bike and quads can come out of nowhere. to get to the riding area as soon as you get in the park take an imedeate left. there are 2 parking lots. nice place though.

 

Yeah, I can't wait to go to Appalachia Bay...we should have approximately 15 club members there...can't wait to meet more people...

camp site are availible all around the lake it is around $10 a night to camp. there is a lot of debris laying around right now. I went sunday 5/23 and had no real problems. most fallen limbs have been moved off the trails. and it has dried out fairly well. utility quads will have the most fun lots and lots of trails just watch out for people going different directions. The water is going down so more of the beaches are availible.

Someone told us pretty much good luck on memorial day weekend...with camping out and it being busy...does anyone for sure????
