CALIFORNIA Quad Riders report here.....

No plans after that. Half the group we ride with don't care for the sand too much. This will be my first trip there in 19 years!! The wife has never been so if she likes it hopefully we can book more trips. No kids for us this time out so it should be a nice relaxing do whatever we want kinda weekend. Let us know when you guys head out there and maybe we'll see if we can make it. Thanksgiving is sold out......

Going without kids would be a blast Funny, the group we ride with only goes to the sandExcept of course a few I have ridden with from the forum They venture where ever Sorta like gypsies
I will let you know when our next trip will be. If I come across reservations for Thanksgiving, would you be interested?

I'd be interested but I gotta see how the wife likes it first. She likes Dumont so hopefully Pismo will be ok with her also. I'll just keep her drunk all weekend and tell her she loved it!!

LOL! Mine still wouldn't believe me We haven't been to Dumont or any other place that has sand So, hard for us to make a comparison. However, we do like being on the ocean Friends of ours keeps trying to get us to go to Buttercup. That is a long drive for only 4-5 days.

Pismo is small and with a holiday weekend crowd, even smaller.
Don't judge whether you like the sand or not on your experience at Pismo. Use Glamis or Dumont as a baseline.
IMHO, the only positive thing about Pismo is the water and the cooler weather.

Sounds like Dellanini is a true sand lover
We've thoroughly loved camping and riding at Hollister, Gorman & Jawbone.
So, now, you shouldn't lump us into just "sand lovers."
Miami - just didn't have one bit of any excitement for any of us that went. On the particular day that we went, there were eight quads. Not a one of us enjoyed it. However, we simply enjoyed the time together and having the quads out. At the end of the day, all of us said that we doubted we would ever be back.
Hey, at least we are honest about it.
