Newbie here on this forum, just purchased a new TRX450r but have been riding quads for a few years, would like to know if there's any closeby riding areas just for a few hours in the morning to break in the bike from Orange county.
i've ridden gorman, silverwood, lucerne, el mirage and pismo.

I am not familiar with all the riding areas in the South part of the state. The ones I know about, you have already mentioned[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I am sure someone from down there, will give you some suggestions.

 

Welcome to the forum sidewindr, I have not been riding at El mirage in over 20 yrs. I have been to Gorman a couple times during that time though. Maybe we can meet at Gorman some time this winter. MWQ

Ouch!!! Ok, ok.. I can take it.. I'm used to it....for some reason we Raider fans get the most abuse of all the fans.. haha!! But there's just something about sitting in that Coliseum parking lot 5hrs prior to the start of the game, bbq'ing with all my friends, sitting in my camp chair, getting some sun, drinking my jack-n-coke that appeals to me.. haha.. gee, just add some sand and you've got Pismo!.. haha!! Some of the local bars actually have banned Raiders fans because of their behavior.

Wooooohooo.... I'm officially off work for the next 3 days!!! I had 18 days left of vacation till the end of the year so I thought I'd use some up this week First Raider home game is Friday (even though it's just pre-season) and Suzy, Steve and I and some other friends are gonna go enjoy some sun and good food in the parking lot of the Oakland Coliseum.. what a day to spend a whole Friday! haha!
