Yea that was some strange stuff falling form the sky as soon as we hit the highway, it had cleared up That one cloud must of just been spinning around right over where we parked

Our bikes are still dirty We'll wash them off tomorrow, after we're done moving some Carnegie mud around
It was "misty" until about 3500'. Then the roads dried up.

I need to pull the bike out and hose it off...

Went to Carnegie today Beautiful day of riding. Traction was great, slight wind, no dust or rain I thought maybe the creek would of been running but not yet The girls did manage to cover themselves and their quads in mud It's nice having a wash rack there, that way they can keep a lot of the mud there and not in my driveway Hoping to go back Friday, then Saturday, wash the quads the really good

Pismo was awesome yesterday! Wow = great weather - no real crowd! Had a terrific time!

Looks like we are heading to Gorman rather than Jawbone ... the Gorman hills/trails and wildlife are calling! Weather looks to be okay- however, I think that it will be chilly! Oh well, going to be out riding/exploring for several days - join in the real fun if you'd like!

That's great Pismo was awesome

Gorman sounds like fun I had hoped to go there over this Christmas break, just doesn't look like it's going to happen. We'll make it some other time.

Whats it like to ride Carnegie on an atv?

The hills look step on the front side and I'd be with my wife who isnt the greatest rider yet.

We've been many times to hollister and like it alot.

It's alot like Hollister (not as big though), the trails are marked for their difficulty too. The trail are wide enough for two quads to ride side by side (at least the ones we ride on). We stay off of the really steep stuff ourselves. We also enjoy riding along the creek bed, especially when water is flowing If you like playing in mud there is plenty of areas for that. As far as amentities, there are plenty of cabanas to use, the store has a lot of parts in it, just in case you might need something along with a cold drink or something hot out of a microwave Bathrooms are permanant with running water Campground is a little on the small side, they only have one and I guess it holds around 40 trailers, not sure though! We've found people to be friendly and helpful there just like everywhere we've ridden. If you make a trip, post it a few members here, live close by and frequent the park maybe some can join you.

BigJon, I just posted some pictures we took while at Carnegie Unfortunately, they don't show any trails. I'll see if we have any I can post. I know my oldest video'd a trail they went up to show my youngest daughter After viewing it, the youngest made the trek up it that's where we took the photo in the tree

Thanks rescuediver, appreciate the reply. Yeah we went there once before to watch the hillclimbs event (now you know why I am alittle freaked about the front-side steep hills) and we brought our 6 years old and his 50 and let him ride the kids flattrack.

I think we might go there this friday with the TH and our quads without the kids. (Finally found a babysitter, we havent been alone in a long long time).

We will probably ride friday afternoon and Sat morning - I'll repost and veify Friday morning (got to work half-day, that gov'mnt for you.)

I drive a 2003 F350 4x4 and have a 26' Attitude Toy Hauler - we ride 2 Bombardier DS650s, 1 yellow, 1 blue/black.

We were going to ride Friday, but my two oldest picked up a babysitting job. Maybe Saturday now. I'm sure there will be a lot of people riding though, oh'well. Not like we never been riding with a crowd before If we go, I'll look for your set up
