Clear Creek...
I took a solo trip to Clear Creek for a 5 hour ride today. I've read about all the asbestos warnings, but figured that since is had just rained it would be ok. It was probably the best ride I've had so far. There was mud, technical (because of a wrong turn), scenery, and the vistas were nothing short of spectacular. I hit a puddle that was a little too deep just a bit too fast and wound up getting soaked (wah) so I had to go in before I could check out any geocaches. I'm not sure when I can make it there again, but I'm figuring twice a year in the rainy season won't kill me...
I have the GPS track points if anybody is interested in a 40 mile ride...

Clear creek sure does sound like fun I've heard only ride it during the rainy season, though because of the asbestos. I think MWQ, used to race that area years ago and he's still around after kicking up all that crap

Clear creak is awesome trail riding, and if your into hill shooting they have some 300 footers almost straight up and down. If your interested send your email to me through pm, and i will send you a couple clips of the hillshoots.

I just finished loading up the quads so i guess if it starts raining they will get a nice bath. Im gonna head to pismo in the morning with my wife. gonna do a little dragging and then take my wife out back through that narrow opening where the trucks and stuff cant pass threw. That way she can get a few hours of riding in without worrying about steves hummer rides jumping over the dune and landing on top of her. she was there when they landed ontop of that boy. anyone else going to pismo? If you are i will be on that old slow orange bombardier. I have not met very many people off the forums so if you see me out there pull me over or come on over. There will be me on the orange bomb and my wife on the black baja x.

south cow moutain is pretty rugged with alot of knarly trials most not for sport quads but they do have a very nice 24 plus mile run east to lake port area all wide dirt road . its very pretty out there and yes you can hunt and target shoot {not big on that} i like to go there with out my son so i can really work it out on the main fire road out to lake port and back . so whats this clear creek place and how do i get there or is there a web site . thanks happy riding
