clear creak is located in the los gatos canyon park or something like that. I dont know if you know where coalinga is at but before you get into town you will see a prison on the right hand side of the road, that is the road you want to turn right on. follow that road till you come to a stop sign make another rightand stay on that road for about 22 miles. you are gonna make another right on a gravel road that will imediately dips down threw the creak.and there you are. some nice 300 foot hill climds almost straight up. if you like trail riding you will love it. dont go in the summer because what it is is old asbestos mines. dont want you breathing in all that dust. if you go right now the trails are not dusty at all. i dont trail ride but i had a great time there.

i just got back from carnegie yesterday. its so much fun when its muddy. i went ot hollister to but the west half was shut down cuz it was too muddy. i love hollister tho. the quad track there is so much better than carnegies. theres a lot more trails too.
We like Hollister too But, Carnegie is just over 30 minutes away

If your referring to target shooting, I don't care for it myself, especially just to bling rounds down range.

When we ride as a family trail riding is the best, especially when it is country we haven't seen before.

Clear Creek...

I'm not sure how you get there from the east. From Hollister, you take 25 south for 40 miles. There's a turn to the left that says clear creek - 16.4 miles. It's easy to miss. It's a windy road, but very pretty. You pass Hernandez reservior and it's just a few more miles on the left. There are road markers going SE. If you're a GPS geek like me, the lat/long is N36-21'29.3" x W120-47'14.3". It's about an hour and a half drive from Hollister. There's a sign-in sheet about a half mile into the area where you can get a map.

They have some bad hills over there. i took my bomb over there with the extended swingarm and it still rared up in a few places shooting the hills. some of them look like there almost straight up and down when you almost get to the top. When climbing the steap ones you have got to be real careful those hills are full of the dirtbike paths and they seem to cross back and forth over each other. just when you think you have found the rite groove the paths will cross and about 3/4 of the way up it seemed like every hill got real choppy with those woops. great riding if you like toride hard. i was totaly wore out when we left.

I just finished loading up the quads so i guess if it starts raining they will get a nice bath. Im gonna head to pismo in the morning with my wife. gonna do a little dragging and then take my wife out back through that narrow opening where the trucks and stuff cant pass threw. That way she can get a few hours of riding in without worrying about steves hummer rides jumping over the dune and landing on top of her. she was there when they landed ontop of that boy. anyone else going to pismo? If you are i will be on that old slow orange bombardier. I have not met very many people off the forums so if you see me out there pull me over or come on over. There will be me on the orange bomb and my wife on the black baja x.
Let's hope that 2BIG2BFAST gets off the beach... saw this over on the Friends of Oceano Dunes website...We were there Mon-Fri and had awesome weather.... guess the weekend crowd isn't as lucky!

"2 vehicles were towed out by tow truck on Thursday morning, 3 on Friday morning and 3 on Saturday morning. All of these vehicles were towed out when other vehicles could not get them. About 50 other vehicles had to be pulled out with out a tow truck between Thursday & Saturday.

Beach campers are being told that if they are not out by the time the creek starts flooding with up stream run off expected to start by this afternoon are being told they will probably not be able to cross back over until Wednesday and even as late as Thursday.

Day users that crossed south when the creek crossing was closed this morning may find themselves stuck for a few days."

Id find myself cutting fences. *looks around*

Edit: I was in no way serious because everyone knows that jeeps are water proof and can go through 10ft of water. So id have no problem getting out.. *looks around again*
