CALIFORNIA Quad Riders report here.....

Hey Baldmike!
We went riding every weekend in June . . . El Mirage, the River, Pismo and Gorman. We've been home the past two weekends taking a little break because of how hot it's gotten outside. Now's when we need to buy that boat or a couple of Jetskis! ha ha
I'll let you know when we decide to go out when we have my stepson again.
Take care!

Yeah, while my son was home on leave in June, I took a lot of vacation time off of work, so I wasn't on the computer at all.
We're not going out this weekend (and don't have stepson), but keep posting about whenever you're going to Hungry Valley because we'll probably be going again soon. Hungry Valley/Gorman I have to say is our favorite place to ride. I love how big it is and all the different trails to choose from - you never get tired of it!
The only thing I don't like about it is that when we're there, we seem to be a "magnet" for RVers who have those cheap, LOUD *** construction generators and run them ALL DAY/NIGHT LONG until our ear drums are falling out of our heads. We actually had to pack up and move to a different spot last time. I can't believe how rude people are, and they always seem to park right next to us!
We usually go to that Smith Forks campground where they have the mini-track. Do you ever bring your son there? We like it there because there's more trees around than some of the other campgrounds, but there are a few more farther back that look pretty cool too that we'd like to try. What campground do you usually stay at - or do you stay overnight?

How to deal with loud A$$ RV generators, run your loud bike or quad starting very early in the morning or night, revving it excessively, letting it idle for way too long, and oh yeah, make sure the exhaust is pointed at them.
ANother tactic is to start yuour BBQ with way too much fuel and burn paper and plastic too, directly upwind of the offending RV. Talking really loud and cussing alot sometimes works.
And if that fails, be sure to invite your really fat ugly friends to run around half naked and maybe even shower at the outside shower attachment......
And if that still doesn't work, every time they go inside, sabotage or turn off the generator.....
And the very last resort is to scream and yell and act like a completely insane person, and do a lot of donuts kicking up lots of dust upwind of their camp, and that will surely make them move.
Don't your just hate those COleman generators. It always amazes me that someone will spend $25K on a beautiful toy trailer and cheap out on a piece of junk generator. Please people, buy the Honda generator, please.
