i know some of you were going to pismo this weekend so let me tell you all what happened before it gets all twisted through the grapevine. you all know pismo has a new drag area where 4sw are gonna be held out in the back by the factory, well as much as i hate to say it that new strip also has about a 70 foot real steap drop off. you all know where im going with this story now. well around 12 o clock me and 5 other guys lined up took off just shifted into 5th gear an me and the bike were at the bottom . i landed about half way down the hill and the bike continued end over end all the way to the bottom of the hill.this has been the most expensive 25 minutes of riding in my whole life. just from the visibal inspection, i broke both pairs of the lower and upper a arms, both tie rods. a brand new aluminum rim on the front right hand side the left rear triple buff hauler paddal, broke the headlight, and bent the rear axel. i keep telling myself atleast i won the race but it just doesn't seem to make me feel any better inside. i just wanted to clear this up becouse about an hour later there was some kinda accident in the back where the ambulance was called out and then a short while later the the medivac was brought in to haul them out. dont know what happened but i just wanted to let everyone know it was not me. all you draggeres please be careful, as far as my injuries i was very lucky, i was able to walk away with a 23 inch gash in my shin a torn rotator cuff and a broken rib, i cant get a full breathe of air, anyway everyone whos out there keep your eyes open, i am one lucky man.

2B2 - Sorry to hear about your accident... we postponed going to Pismo this weekend because of the rain that was supposed to come in on Saturday.. lo and behold.. when I woke up Sat morning to a sunny day and with a heck of a hangover... my son's were knocking at my bedroom door to take them rideing to Hollister Hills.... after downing 2 excedrines and a cup of jo we were on our way.... weather was good except for the wind that came in around 3 till around 9. Ground was pretty tacky and the upper trails weren't that dusty... the quad track was the worse I've ever seen it in 4 years... rutted out BAD....

And I thought that my weekend was expensive due to my 10 year old loosing two sparky's off his KX60.

I just bought a new set of +2 a-arms for my Z400.. the stockers are just sitting in a box... if you need the stockers let me know and I'll give them to you so you can start your rebuilding(just pay for shipping). A little rust down by the lower shock mounts but they are straight...

thanks for the offers and words of encouragemnet, my ds 730 nitrous bike has all the parts to put her back together but with good news comes bad news, more xrays showed today that my shoulder is broken and i will have to go and see the orthopedic surgeon. so i guess the bike will be healed before i am , thanks again guys. has anyone heard anything about the guy who was medivacked out of the pismo dunes last saturday?

Hi LTZ,

We'll leave Fresno between 5-5:30 this afternoon. We usually arrive there between 8:30-9:00. Just in time to set up camp, grab a snack and build a fire to enjoy for an hour or two.

Looking forward to meeting some new friends that are planning on coming, according to the Club ATV West board. As stated before, we will be camping at Smith's Fork Campground.
