Brodie 70- I see from your profile you've rode the Rand Mountains. What's it like? Would you recommend it to us, and where do you camp near there? Dove Springs or Jawbone and ride there???

We usually go for the day but I here of people camping there all the time. We park on trail 31??? I think just down the hill from randsburg the town. Lots of great riding for rookie to expert. As you come into jawbone there is a ranger station that has maps of the entire area. The moutain ranges to ride. El Paso, Rand, and Jawbone. It is a great time. Lotsa fun...... I will try to scan the trail maps I have and post them.

We plan on making several trips this winter, probably start in November sometime headed over there, also plan on riding at clear creek just above coalinga off of I-5. You can get a trail map from Hollister BLM. Also Hungry valley and of course at least 2 trips to GLAMIS>>>>>>>> Damn will I be broke next summer because of all the fuel I will waste this winter... What the heck it is worth it.
