Definately had a blast up there. Dust. Yeah, whatever. Definately have to give Jim the props. Man you ROCK!
Me and Jarrod hit the high country in the Jeep. 60-70 miles up there. We started out Baesore, then a ways after the Meadows we hung a right and took I think 6S15 down to another road. Took that one across till we ended up on Minarretes Rd at about 5300 feet. Took a breather at Mile High Vista. Then to the south on Minarretes. Too a road to nowhere. Litterally. The Jeep definately got a work out. But we were just warming up. Finally got to like 7S02, I think, and took it all the way to Gaggs Campground. Wow, now that was some Trail. I wouldn't attempt that in anything wider than a Jeep. Stopped for lunch at like 3:30 at Gaggs. Then we headed for Shutteye Peak. Man, what a ride. Seen lots of Level 2 roads. Now we just need to find a good campin spot up there. Made it back to Bass Lake about 6PM.

Hey B&R-
Fun riding with you on Sat. Shuteye is my traditional Memorial Day ride. I like to play in the snowbank just below the summit. Lots of good camp sites between Gaggs Camp and Whiskey Falls, many are big enough for large groups. Things are drying out pretty fast up there though; I expect it will be too dusty for riding until the rains come again.
