Howdy All...

My buddy and I went down to the pit today. After our ride, we talked to Roy for a while and found out some disturbing news. It seems like the local powers are trying to stick it to Roy for operating an "offroad park" without proper permits and some type of zoning violations as well. The penelty involved here is 90 days of jail time and/or a $1000.00 fine. Not to mention the cost of the "proper" permits and paperwork. There's going to be a hearing coming up some time in late June (?). I'm not sure as to the details on that, or if we should even attend to show our support. Maybe Roy's grand daughter can fill us in with the details when they become available.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I will contact the DNR and see what our options are. We have some pro-offroad staff within the DNR, so I will get in contact with them ASAP.

I was down there on saterday seen the same thing Drinkin/Partyin/Trash all over.No helmets & to top it off.

So if they close it down I'll have to see all this riff raff on the other trail systems in MN and WS?? great news.. hope they keep it open just so the riff raff stay off the other trail systems.

Going to try and make it out next weekend.. one of my friends that was to go with us that day down in BRF but had a problem with his Rappy got fed up and purchased a YFZ... and another friend picked up a TRX450R..


Will keep you advised .. maybe BRF if it opens up again from all the rain.

I talked to the county commissioner on Saturday evening. I have to call him back on Wednesday after he gets a chance to review the complaint. After Wednesday, I will get a game plan set.
